a. Information You Provide Directly
Account information (name, email address, password, role, team affiliation).
Payment information (collected and processed securely by our third-party payment processors).
Videos, images, and other content you upload (“User Content”).
Communications you send to us (support requests, feedback).
b. Information We Collect Automatically
Device information (type, operating system, app version).
Log data (IP address, browser type, date/time of access).
Usage data (features used, pages viewed, interactions).
c. Information from Others
If a coach, club, or team adds you to their roster, we may receive your name and email address.
If you appear in videos uploaded by someone else, we process that video as described below.
2. Children and Minors
Our Services are designed for athletes of all ages, including minors under 18.
We require coaches, parents, or guardians to obtain necessary consents before uploading videos featuring minors.
If you are under 13, you may not create an account directly without parental or guardian consent.
Parents/guardians may request access to or deletion of their child’s data at any time (see Section 9).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
To provide and operate the Services.
To analyze uploaded videos and generate stats, highlights, and other features.
To improve our machine learning models and develop new features.
To personalize your experience and recommend relevant content.
To communicate with you about your account, updates, or promotions.
To comply with legal obligations.
4. Use of Uploaded Videos and Data for Machine Learning
By uploading User Content, you grant us the right to use it to train, test, and improve our machine learning models.
We may create derivative datasets or anonymize data for research and development.
We will never sell your personal videos or identifying information to third parties for advertising.
5. Data Storage and Transfers
We host our Services on Microsoft Azure servers, which may be located in Canada, the United States, or other regions.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in a country other than where it was collected, which may have different data protection laws.
By using our Services, you consent to this cross-border transfer.
6. Sharing of Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
With Service Providers: Third parties who assist in hosting, analytics, payments, and customer support.
With Coaches/Teams: Stats, videos, and analytics may be visible to coaches, parents, and teammates depending on account settings.
For Legal Reasons: When required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).
We may retain anonymized or aggregated data for analytics and model training indefinitely.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and secure access controls.
No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Access & Correction: You may access and update your personal information in your account settings.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Section 12).
Parental Rights: Parents or guardians may request access to or deletion of their child’s data.
Marketing Communications: You may opt out of marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” or adjusting your settings.
10. Third-Party Services
Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors).
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date or via in-app notification. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
